Check the size before you cut

A correctly sized PDF can still be resized by a printer dialog. Check one plain-paper copy before making a laminated or adhesive card.

1. Choose the paper loaded in your printer. Select Letter or A4 in the builder before downloading. This changes the page, not the measured size of a small card.
2. Print at 100% or Actual size. Disable Fit to page, Scale to fit and similar options. Turn off browser headers and footers when using the Print button.
3. Measure the calibration mark. The bar on a card PDF must measure one inch, or 25.4 mm. If it does not, revisit scaling settings before changing card dimensions.
4. Check the card itself. Measure its outline, inspect the smallest text and test it against your equipment. For a cap, check the usable inside area and lid clearance.
5. Allow for finishing. Tape and lamination add area. Test your chosen materials before relying on a finished card.

Two ways to print

Download PDF creates a file with embedded fonts. Print uses your browser's print dialog and may offer Save as PDF. If downloading fails, keep your entries and try Print. Unsupported PDF characters produce a message so you can replace them or try browser printing.

A quick calibration worksheet

The builder's printing section provides a printer-test sheet with a one-inch square, sample cards and small-type rows, plus a six-card fit pack. Record your own measurements; the worksheets do not certify a printer or equipment fit.

Blank templates without the editor

The download library contains all six formats on Letter and A4. These links also work when JavaScript is unavailable.

Keep an editable copy too

Save a named card in the builder, then export an editable backup. A large library may have multiple backup files: download every part and import them one at a time when restoring. Browser site data is not a permanent backup.

Our placement scenes are illustrations. We have not completed physical printer, equipment-fit or sticker-durability validation. Send feedback with the format, paper, print settings and what happened.

Print-and-photo checklist

Download the two-page checklist for US Letter or A4. Page one records your print, trim, fit and photo checks. Page two contains actual-size starting outlines for scope, stock, wallet, arm-board and match-notes cards, plus a one-inch calibration bar. For actual card artwork, use the blank downloads.

A browser preview is scaled for your screen. Its apparent size is not a ruler. Only measure the printed PDF after printing at 100% / Actual size. The outlines are starting examples; use your own measured dimensions in the builder.

Transfer your recorded data

1. Choose a format and enter its measured dimensions. Match the Distance unit and Angular unit labels to your source. Changing labels does not convert numbers.
2. Enter the Range, Elevation and Wind entries directly, or open Paste a table or import CSV for stock, scope-cap, arm-board or wallet cards. Copy cells from a spreadsheet, including the header if helpful, or choose a .csv file up to 32 KB encoded as UTF-8. Files are read on your device and populate the same review flow; they are not uploaded. Export Excel workbooks as CSV UTF-8, or paste their cells. Tab-separated text and comma-separated text are supported.
3. After a file loads, check whether the first row is a header and select Read columns. For pasted text, also select the delimiter. Map the source columns to Range, Elevation and, where available, Wind. Use plain numeric entries without unit suffixes; keep units in the builder labels. Empty elevation or wind cells stay empty.
4. Select Review import. Check every row, the current unit labels and the list of ignored columns. Correct any errors before continuing. No values are calculated, rounded, sorted or converted.
5. Confirm replacement only when the review matches your records. Import uses manual ranges and preserves the selected card dimensions. Named saved cards are unchanged until you save or update them. Undo table import can restore the previous draft until you save, change cards or ranges, apply a suggested size, import again or reload; it also replaces edits made since that import after confirmation.
6. Check the preview and any fit warnings. More imported rows may require fewer rows or a larger measured space; the card will not silently grow. Compare the PDF against your source, then print a test copy.

Import accepts 1–25 data rows and up to 12 source columns. It formats supplied data only; it does not verify the correctness of your records. For a different device, use an editable backup rather than copying the PDF back into the builder.

Save, reopen and back up

1. Save: give the card a name below the entry table and select Save new card. After editing an opened card, select Update saved card.
2. Reopen: return to Your saved cards near the top of the page and select Open beside its name.
3. Back up: expand Back up or import saved cards, then download the editable backup. Keep every part if the library is split into multiple files. Import the files into the other browser to restore them.

Saved cards live in this browser on this device. They do not sync automatically. Private browsing, clearing site data or changing devices can remove access. A PDF is a printable copy; the editable backup keeps builder settings and entries.
